The Bristles

Last Years Youth

After two rock solid 7″s that sold really well we decided it was time for a full length. Not only would this be the first full length for The Bristles it would also be the first full length we put out. A lot of people were eagerly anticipating this release and the band came through with flying colors. It was good solid punk rock ,but this time they threw in a bit of street punk and slowed down the tempo a bit . Some people really liked the change and others preferred the sound of the 7″s. Either way it was a great record , but unfortunately right before it came out the band broke up.

Here’s why the color of the jacket for each pressing was different. The first pressing had the green cover. The songs on the record were out of order due to a repeated error on the part of the pressing plant. No matter what we told them they kept getting it wrong and the band and us ran out of patience and decided fuck it lets just get this out.On the next pressing at the new plant this error was corrected and we made the cover red and spread the word so people would know the difference.
