No Idea started in 1985 by a bunch of friends. They mixed hardcore with some crossover and thrash overtones.
In 1986 the band went into the studio and turned out ‘Jag Hatar Punk’. After that that the band played out locally as well as out of town.
No Idea is one of those bands that was a hidden gem. Being in the right place and time this band could have gone onto be big like many of their peers in the US.
February of 2016 the band reunited for a 30 year anniversary gig. It went so well that No Idea decided to get back together and currently is playing out. New material is also in the works as well as a plan to one day do a US tour.
